Rhythm Time

I have been going with Mummy to a music group in Bonnybridge called Rhythm Time. It is run by one of Mummys friends Jill and today I completed my first semester and I was given a certificate. We all got to pose for a picture that might be in the Falkirk Herald.

I'm really looking forward to going back after Easter it's lots of fun playing with all the instruments.

Quack Quack

Grammy and Grandpa were visiting so we decided to go out for the day through to Linlithgow. It was great fun I got to feed the ducks and swans which was great fun, I really liked throwing the bread Mummy had brought with her.

We also all went along to the playpark and I got to play on the slide, swings and a spiney thing. It was really good fun running around having everyone chase me around the park.

We then headed up to the palace, I had the good end of the deal as I got pushed the entire way on my trike, it's the first time I have played on it this year and it was so much fun. We has a look around the church and then headed down into the town for some lunch. I had a big bowl of chips and the nice waiter gave me a lolly-pop!

Grammy bought me a new hairband and it has a little crown on it. I wore it the whole way home! Before we did leave to go home though we had ice cream.

I had a fun day.

Roslin in Roslin and butterfly gardens

Mummy and Daddy had a weekend off together so they decided we were going to have a day out in Edinburgh. First stop was to the butterfly gardens just on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It was amazing, so many butterflies to look at. I liked them all apart from one that just sat in the same place all the time. My favourite part was a little bridge where mummy let me put a coin into the running underneath it and told me to make a wish. I don't know what wishes are but I did like dropping shiney things into the water.

I know I look a little strange in the picture just I'm acually mid jump! BOING!

Next we went a little drive in the car to a church in a little village, mummy and daddy were laughing when we got near to it but I don't know why. Anyway we didn't stay there long as people were doing work on it instead we drove to the outskirts of the village that the church was in. I don't know why mummy wanted a picture here, but she kept saying that is was my village. Silly Mummy.

I was exhausted when I got home, chasing the butterflies and driving around made me tired but it was a fun day.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I have had such a busy couple of weeks, Mum put a tree up in the house and covered it with shiny things. The temptation proved to much for me and I couldn't resist having a look at them, much to Mummy and Daddies disapproval.

The weather has been really cold and everything turned white, I've been told it's called snow and I really like it. Granny and Grandpa have been taking me sledging lots, mummy came along but she wasn't very good at steering, I almost fell out! Really like the sledging can't help but give little squeals of delight when I am on the sledge and can't stop laughing. It's great fun!

I have been to two Christmas parties one of them was with Daddies work, we went to a soft pay area in Glasgow, it was great! I got to play in the ball pit and go down the big slide with Mummy. I had chicken nuggets and I even got to meet Santa and he gave me a ninky nonk! I had lots of fun!

The other party was at playgroup, and Santa was there again and this time he gave me a book full of Christmas stories, I even got to sit on his knee! I am a bit confused though as my book said Santa was a fat jolly man and had rosy cheeks, I think my Santa may be an imposter!

Mummy had been working all night on Christmas eve so Daddy was here on Christmas morning and when we got up there was lots of toys around the tree and a trampoline! But Daddy made me go into the living room and wait for Mummy to come home, when she did I got to open all my presents. It was lots of fun ripping off all the paper and I got lot's of fun toys. Mummy and Daddy had made me a dolls house which I really like, Uncle Dan got me my trampoline which I get to bounce on, Gramma and Grandpa got me a slide but I have not had a go yet cause of the weather, Mummy told me it was to cold for building it, and Granny and Grandpa got me fun toys like a bus full of little people and clothes including my first pair of big girl jammies, Mummy and Daddy think I look all grown up when I wear them.

After my nap we went up to Granny and Grandpas house for dinner. I had soup and turkey and pudding. I was so full after eating everything and I got crackers, which I really like, especially with they go bang! I got to go home with one for later which I had on boxing day when mummy and Daddy had goose, I didn't like it as much as the turkey but I gave it a try anyway.

Gramma, Grandpa, Uncle Dan and James all came up to visit on the Sunday, and I got even more presents! I really like all the presents and was nice to see everyone. I got to show them all my toys and had great fun. It's been a very merry christmas I have had a great time.

Deep Sea World

I went to Deep Sea World in North Queensferry with Grandpa, Gramma Pam, and Mummy and Daddy. I liked being in the tunnel seeing the fish swimming all around us. I was glad there was lots of people there to cuddle as some of the big fish were a little scary.

I did get to splash my fingers in one of the pools with the kissing fish, I wasn't really sure if I liked it or not, but one thing I did like was the Gecko I saw it running and I got to pet it. I like Geckos and Mummy bought me a toy one that I can keep and play with.
