Reunited

Well Ben got home safe and sound from his business trip and brought Roslin a vibrating miffy for her pram back with him. I managed to survive Ben not being here due to my parents being a great help by feeding me dinner and helping to keep Roslin amused when she got to her evening grumpy moods. But all is well and our little family is together again.

Party Animal

Today has been a busy day, Ben jetted off to Amsterdam to do some training for work for 4 days, so we waved him off and along with Gran and Grandpa we went to Lorcan's birthday party. Kirsteen and Barry were having a party for his 2nd birthday, it was nice to see some of the family and everyone that met Roslin thought she was beautiful. Just over 9 weeks old and been to two parties, such a party animal.

8 Week Assessment

I knew I wasn't going to like this trip to the doctors, Roslin was due her assessment and her first set of injections. The assessment itself went rather well she is coming along really well, she is now 11lb 2oz so weight is all good now weight wise. The injections on the other hand was not a pleasant experience. She got Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Polio and PCV (Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine - Pneumococcal infection). This is two injections one into each thigh and Roslin did what every baby does she cried her little heart out and gave me pouty faces for the rest of the day. She did really well but I'm not looking forward to her next one and doing it all over again.
