Archie a girls best friend

My Granny and Grandpa got a puppy he's a Cocker Spaniel called Archie, he likes to try to eat my toes but Granny stops him cause she likes my toes too. He is fun and likes to run around and steal my toys, that's OK though cause I like to steal his too. I am not allowed to grab his ears I have to be gentle, not quite sure what gentle is yet but I'm sure I will figure it out, also still trying to work out what way up he goes, dogs are strange.
